Quaternion Editorial is the freelance editorial services business of Beth Lee-De Amici. Beth is a published author of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, and holds a PhD in historical musicology from the University of Pennsylvania. Beth also has earned the professional certificate in editing from UC Berkeley Extension and has taken courses in indexing, creative writing, and screenwriting. In 2020, Beth joined the Editorial Freelancers Association, and the American Society for Indexing in 2023.

In her ten years' experience as an educator at several universities, Beth taught courses incorporating instruction in writing for both undergraduate and graduate students, which included courses in research techniques and bibliographical standards at the graduate level. Beth also acted as a judge for the Ink & Insights literary competition between 2018 and 2022, where she gave feedback to contestants about their novels.

Fiction editing projects have ranged from novellas with elements of magical realism to feature-length film scripts to thrillers and epic fantasy. Past clients include Clemson University Press, for which Beth edited a nonfiction book. Beth has also completed several nonfiction projects for the editing services company Flatpage.

Beth is in the process of revising her first novel. A sequel to that novel is currently in development.
